Registration Information & Guidelines
 

This page is dedicated to helping you, the animation and vfx student register for you classes for the up coming quarter. This section of the web site contains the following helpful resources:

Registration starts ... look at the calendar.
You can only register if you have completed the mentioned number of credits listed on the specific day on the calendar.

Course Forecast: Review this "living document. I will update it every quarter.

Prepare for registration:

  1. Have all your paperwork prior to meeting with your advisor or academic director
  2. Look through and plan out what four classes you want to register for prior to meeting..
  3. Read through this page first. Specifically the course listing just above this paragraph. If you have not taken one or more of the above classes, please register for them.

Holds Information:
Holds are the gold sheets handed out during classes and prior to the quarter start and registration. Please read them and understand what is expected of you to fix or address this hold issues. Please get your holds taken care of as soon as possible. If you wait until registration is open and you are ready to register. If you do that, then you will not be able to register due to the hold, which might take a couple of days to clear up. By then the classes you were planning on taking are no full.


In person registration information:
You can register in person with either Claire Hilgeman (room 316) or with David Wilharm (room 341). Please come prepared with the proper printed documentation prior to your meeting. You should come prepared with the following paperwork:

  1. Your degree audit.
  2. Signed off hold forms you have taken care of if you have any holds.
  3. The classes you have already planned on registering for.

Understanding your degree audit:

You gain access to your degree audit when you log into your OLS account. Once logged in, click on degree audit and you will see it. Below is a video tutorial to help you understand the following:
