| Building your portfolio website Workshop |
| Starting next week we are offering a series of workshops for all our students (and faculty) (non-WDIM primarily but all are more than welcome), that would help them create their interactive portfolios, understand how to build a website, and give them additional opportunity to practice the material they cover in Fundamentals of IMD. It is also a great opportunity for student who don’t need to take Fundamentals of IMD to learn about ever-so-in-demand website design. Please promote it to your students and faculty. It is organized by WDIM department- we are hoping to have it offered on a quarterly basis. When: Monday Nov. 30 and Wednesday Dec. 2. 2pm-5pm, Room 10 (Week 9) Monday and Wednesday 5pm-8pm, Room 229 (Weeks 10 and 11) Summary: Learn everything you need to know to easily build a compelling website using industry standard tools List of topics: > How to get started on your web portfolio > what to include in your web portfolio. > what major elements should be present in your portfolio. > How to use tools such as DreamWeaver and Flash to build and upload your website files > A list of useful resources |
